  • Leaving
  • Please don't leave ! We need you, I can't live off of this forever.

  • Finding out
  • You have to find the treasure it's your destiny.
  • Okay, but are you sure?
  • His Destiny
  • What's that?
  • This is your Personal Legend
  • In my book The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo in this first scene, Santiago goes against his parent's wishes and says he doesn't want to be a priest. And that he wants to travel the world and to do so he will become a shepherd.
  • Traveling
  • Its been 2 years of Santiago being a Shepherd and he has been doing very well. But, he has this reoccurring dream and wants to know if it's important. He has gone a fortune teller and she tells him that his dream is telling find the treasure in Egypt
  • The Alchemist
  • Santiago the next day is approached by this old man and he starts to tell Santiago to follow his Destiny /Personal legend. Santiago doesn't know how this old man knows about his destiny and they talk about what he should do next.
  • Realizing
  • Santiago decides to take the trip, but now he is deprived of food, water, and shelter. He has to keep going because the Sahara desert is very difficult to cross.
  • It's so hot I need food.
  • Santiago had finally crossed the Sahara desert and had heard of a village near the coast that would let him stay awhile. There Santiago met the Alchemist who had told him he would reach his Personal legend very soon
  • Yes.
  • Are you sure?
  • The final twist, that the treasure lies under the farm that he lived in with his parents this whole time and Santiago decides to go home. These men who came before you the Alchemist says, wanted just the treasure from there Personal legend and not to live out this.
