Storyboard Text

  • Protagonist
  • Antogonist
  • Imagery
  • This is Billy Weaver, he is a 17 year old who is on a trip to attend a business meeting. He is more of a flat and static character because we don't get to know or see him change in such a short story.
  • Suspense
  • This unnamed character is a middle-aged sweet looking lady, with a passion for taxidermy and has a very creepy sense of being polite
  • Choice Term
  • We used this scene of a starry night because in the beginning when Billy is looking for directions the author describes the scene as, "moon was coming up out of a clear starry sky over the houses opposite of the station entrance".
  • Mood
  • Taxidermy
  • A scene that creates suspense in the story is when the nice lady gives Billy tea to drink and he refers to it tasting funny like "bitter almonds" referring it as tainted. He then became frightened when she says, "Left? But my dear boy, he never left". But with Billy knowing that the man she is talking about is dead.
  • In the choice term scene we chose him dying as a result of foreshadowing because the lady kept referring to two dead men as, "Still here, together. They're on the third floor, both of them together".
  • This story is good for reading at Halloween because it is presumed that the drink Billy had was tainted and was going to kill him. With many drinks being passed around during Halloween, it would keep everyone spooked.
