This storyboard does not have a description.
Mary Queen of Scots was born in 1542 . Her father died when she was just a few days old and she was instantly crowned queen.
In 1548 at the age of 6 she was sent to France where she was brought up and educated there.(France was very catholic)
In 1561 Mary returned to Scotland but Scotland was very different to the one she left in 1548. During those years Scotland had became Protestant and Scottish Protestant lords rebelled against Mary being catholic.
In 1565 Mary married Lord Darnley and in the following year she gave birth to a son (the future King James VI of Scotland) However the marriage wasn't happy.
Darnley became very ill with small pox and died.Three months after Darnley's death Mary married Bothwell. Protestant lords rebelled against her marriage so she was imprisoned at Loch Leven castle.
In may 1568 Mary managed to escape from her captivity. She then moved to Protestant England which presented Elizabeth with a serious problem.
