Me and my mate Frank were having a trip to Japan. We decided not to take any adults. After all the tedious red tapes we finally got our visas. We booked the ticket and hotel, and was ready to roll. Both of us were very excited since this is our first trip without adults.
We first arrived in Osaka, west of Japan's capital. Both of us were amazed by the building style, advanced transportation system and especially the food. We tried the Takoyaki, ball shaped snack made of octopus, and local style bento.
After spending two days in Osaka, we took the Japanese high speed train, called Shinkansen, to Tokyo. Without adults, we two still managed to figure out how to take the train.
Tokyo is quite different from Osaka. Everyone here lives a busy life and it's very crowded. We met one of Frank's relative and she would be our tour guide. Frank and I visited Akihabara, the paradise of games and animes. We went shopping and visited some scenic spots.
During out stay, we only took the underground for transportation. The cab in Japan is noticeably expensive. We didn't risk taking a bus because going in the wrong direction or getting lost would be very problematic since we both know nothing about the language.
After this trip, Frank and I felt that we became more mature. We were able to survive in another country for a week. We took trains and planes without adults. Last but not least, we had the freedom to make our own plan, and to visit the places we are only interested in.
