This is the story of how a little water molecule's life got turned upside it. It started its life in this large ocean near glaciers, until the sun somehow became strong...
The sun's radiation made the water droplet evaporate into the air as it becomes water vapor, and works against gravity. This step is really where the whole water cycle really starts.
The now water vapor really doesn't know what is happening and is quite concerned. Then, something crazy happens, this process called condensation. This is where the water vapor turns into liquid water in the atmosphere, and go up into the clouds to fill them.
Since it's so cold where the water droplet lives, the water stays like snow, as it falls from the sky. This is called precipitation. The water droplet we're talking about sticks to the glacier...
Once the snow on the glaciers starts to melt a bit, it creates a runoff, and the snow turns into the liquid water once again, it runs back down into the frigid ocean. This whole process repeats again and again.
