  • William of Orange was a Dutch leader involved in invading England. It was dangerous involving him because his wife was the king's daughter.
  • Toleration Act of 1689
  • The Glorious Revolution was when William of Orange invaded England and took over.
  • The Bill of Rights was instituted when William of Orange took power. It included citizens' rights to bear arms, jury trials, and that armies can only act with the parliament's consent.
  • The Toleration act of 1689 allowed Puritans the right to worship publicly. The act made religious persecution rare in England.
