I have worked so hard to make dairy from this cow. I do hope I can get paid enough for all my hard work. I will sell the milk for $3 USD per gallon.
Farmers in America
Yes, I worked hard to create this milk but I have so many cows and machinery, it didn't have to put much effort it. I will sell the milk for $2 USD.
Farmers in Jamaica
Now, no one will buy my milk and I will not be able to provide for myself and my family.
This poor Jamaican farmer hopes he will make high profits from the dairy he produced from his cows because if he doesn't he will be unable to meet basic life needs. He suffers from debt due to the poor economy of his country.
This American farmer easily produces enough dairy to make a profit and even sells it at a lower price so his goods are more likely to be purchased. He is living lavishly compared to the Jamaican farmer.
Now the Jamaican farmer is suffering because of the American farmers ' cheaper milk. He is unable to satisfy his basic needs and as a result of the American farmer's high standard of living, he is suffering.
