  • At first, there was a variation in the wolf population. Some wolves hunted in packs while others hunted alone.

  • Wolves that hunted in packs got more food since they worked together. The wolves that hunted alone could catch as much prey and went hungry. 
  • THE END
  • The wolves who hunted in packs were able to reproduce while the wolves who hunted alone died off.  The wolf offspring would also live in packs. 
  • Over time, the entire population will change until the species is best adapted to its environment. Then, only the wolves that hunted in packs will remain, as nature selects the "fittest" individuals.
