Storyboard Text

  • Penelopeia: My dear husband, I love you so much. I'll always stay faithful to you and love you forever. I love you and Telemachos so much!
  • Odysseus: Oh Penelopeia, I love you and our son, Telemachos, so much.
  • Message from King Menelaos: Odysseus, you must come at once and help your dear friend. I'm in trouble! I'm asking you to come fight beside me in Troy. 
  • Odyssues: I must go and help King Menelaos in Troy.
  • Odyssues: You shall not hurt my son.
  • King Odysseus is home in Ithaca with his wife Penelopeia and his newborn son Telemachos.
  • Mentor/ Helper
  • Athena: As long as I am here, Odyssues you will never have to worry about being alone and weak. I shall always help you in your time of need
  •   Odysseus has been called to fight by King Menelaos. Odysseus sets out for Troy.
  • Crossing The Threshold
  • Odysseus: Oh Nooo!!! This isn't where we're supposed to be. The storm is too strong.
  • Odysseus doesn't want to leave his wife and his son so he pretends to have gone insane, but inorder to save his son from a plow, he reveals he is still sane.
  • Test/ Allies/ Enemies
  • Polyphemus to Odysseus: You have tricked me and have escaped from me, but you'll never be able to escape from my father, Posiedon, for blinding me.
  • Helios to Odysseus and his men: How dare you eat my cattle like that?! You will regret this!
  • Athena, the goddess of war, crafts, and wisdom helps Odysseus through everything. She takes pity on him and saves him from death on multiple occasions. 
  • Odyssues: Athena, my dear goddess, my savior, thank you for all that you do to me. I owe my life!
  • After the war, the gods get angry with how cocky the Greeks were. They whip up a storm and throw them off course.
  • Gods: These silly cocky little humans shall pay!
  • Many obstacles have been thrown in Odysseus' path as he travels to Ithaca, for example, the cyclops, Polyphemus, the monsters Charybdis and Scylla, the sirens, Helios with his cattle, and etc.
  • Odysseus to Polyphemus:    Hahaha I beat you Polyphemus! Nothing will happen to me. Stay away! Odysseus to Helios: Oh no! I'm so sorry! Please spare us.
  • Siren:                Oh, Odysseus come back here and listen to my beautiful voice!
