Storyboard Text

  • The tree is going through photosynthesis. Photosynthesis occurs during gas exchange in plants, They use carbon dioxide to create carbohydrates
  • The leaves and berries the tree produces contain carbon and where eaten by a dear.
  • The berries and leaves of the tree where eaten by the deer. Now the deer breathed the carbon out during respiration. Respiration is the exchange of gas by breathing.
  • The carbon made its way out and is on its way up into the atmosphere.
  • The deer breathed out the carbon and it is now on its way to the surface ocean.
  • Respiration has occurred. The deer and the atmosphere exchanged carbon dioxide when the deer breathed out.
  • The carbon has now made it to the surface ocean. The carbon will move around the ocean in water currents. The water currents will move the carbon around
  • Carbon is now making its way back to the atmosphere.
  • The carbon has made it back to the atmosphere. It came out of solution of carbonic acid to become carbon dioxide.
  • Carbon is now making its way into a tree as part of the plant.
  • The carbon molecule has made its way into the tree through photosynthesis and is now in its trunk.
