Storyboard Text

  • Mercutio
  • He's a smart boy. I bet he slipped away and went to bed. (They get into the car)
  • Benvolio
  • How can I go away while my love stays here. I have to go back to her. (He leaves)
  • Romeo, my cousin, Romeo, Romeo!
  • Romeo
  • I must make him appear, Romeo I summon you by Rosaline's bright eyes.
  • If he hears you, you'll make him angry.
  • He's hidden behind these trees. His love is blind, so it belongs in the dark.
  • All I'm doing is saying the name of the women he loves to lower him out of the darkness.
  • Come on, should we go? He's just going to sit under a tree wishing he could be with Rosaline all night.
  • Lets go. There's no point in looking for him if he doesn't want to be found.
  • (To himself) Should I listen for more, or should I speak now?
  • O Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo?
  • Juliet
  • Romeo
  • It's only your name that's my enemy. You'd still be yourself even if you stop being a Montague. What does a name mean? Romeo would be just as perfect even if he wasn't called Romeo.
  • (To Juliet) I trust your words. Just call me your love, and will take a new name. From now on I will never be Romeo again.
