On today's episode we will be learning about gravity, friction, elastic force, and magnetism.
For example, The force of gravity keeps all of the planets in orbit around the sun.
First, what is Gravity? Gravity is the force by which a planet or other body draws objects toward its center.
Friction is the resistance, that one surface or object encounters when moving over another.
A person sliding down a slide is an example of friction.
Next is elasticity...
For example, a rubber band.
Elasticity is the ability of a material to return to its original shape after being stretched or compressed.
Magnetism is a force that can attract (pull closer) or repel (push away).
For example, this magnet attracted the nail because it has magnetism. That is why they stick.
That is all for today's episode. Thank you for watching.
