  • To increase our wealth we shall sell multiple goods. We will transfer materials to colonial markets abroad.
  • Trading became so popular that along with material goods and metals they also started exchanging plants and animals.
  • Plantations were created by colonists so they could grow cotton, vanilla, sugar, and other crops to present to the Americas.
  • Due to the colonist deciding to exchange animals, horses became a large part of the culture in Native America
  • Many people died because of the Columbian Exchange. While shipping items over diseases were spread in South America.
