When Jekyll returns to the lab, he eventually injects himself with drugs, but the experiment turns into a "hydes," the incarnation of evil.When he was living between Jekyll and Heid, Lucy came to see him with a wound and told him that it was Hyde who had hurt himself in treatment, and that means Jekyll knew who he was getting out of control.
As the experiment progresses, Jekyll becomes more and more out of control, becomes Hyde and kills each member of the board who opposes him. Watson, who learned of his situation in Jekyll's letter, came to his lab and met Jekyll, who returned to Zikil, and asked Watson to let Lucy leave London.
