At home that night, James's symptoms are worse than usual. He has had a very long day at work and just wants to relax and get to bed, but his OCD wont let him, as he can't stop stressing about little things like whether or not he locked his car. Although he usually tries not to, James takes Anafranil, an antidepressant, as it is the only thing that helps ease his symptoms.
ONE MONTH LATER: James is attending his first cognitive behavioural therapy session. He hopes that this will be the first step in successfully curing his disorder.
