A Gem dies
Shows Katniss' feeling of confusion when she find him conversing with the career tributes. Show a little about what she's thinking in that situation when seeing the man that "loves her" talking with her enemies.
Katniss drops a hive of lethal tracker jackers onto the group of careers. Tracker jackers -- a Capitol engineered wasp made to be highly deadly. Katniss secures her first kill and her weapon of choice unintentionally from Glimmer, the girl from district 4. Cato and Peeta both survive.

Katniss gets her first intentional kill, but finds her friend on the brink of death due to a cut wound. This event sparks a fire in Katniss that led her to make a rebellious symbol out of Rues death. She makes a burial ceremony for Rue during the games.
The Capitol changed the rule where there can only be one winner. Katniss immediately goes to look for Peeta to have a better chance of winning the games with them both alive.
I gotta find Peeta
The Capitol revoked the previous rule of 2 winners. Rather than killing one another, Katniss and Peeta decided to die together rather than living without the other. The Capitol couldn't allow no winner, so they accepted them both as victors. This was yet another one of Katniss' rebellious actions.
