- The mother lied to the king that her daughter could spin straw into gold. The king said that if she would show him he would marry her.
- She couldn't do it so Rumpelstiltskin appeared and made a deal. So every night she would have to give something valuable so he would make the straw into gold.
- Rumpelstiltskin didn't get anything in place for the hay so he said that when the girl and king have a child she must give it to him.
- Rumplestiltskin asked for her baby but she said no so he said if you can guess my name i will tell you but she never could until one night...
- Then a soldier found out his name while he was dancing in the woods
- the queen said his name and he had to let her keep the child.
