During World War Two, Jews were taken from there homes to get deported to death camps.
Young and old were put on trains. Crowded together. Some didn't even make it to the camps. They had no idea they were going to their deaths.
Prisoners who tried to escape were hung in public.
Jews were often put in cells like this and starved to death. If not starved forced to do hard labor to help the nazis.
Germany was losing the war after D-Day. A bunch of men on both sides lost their lives. Japan was still in it to win it though.
We tore away at Japan so muck that when we deployed to atomic bombs on them, they gave up and surrendered, ending WW2.
