Storyboard Text

  • Hello everyone, I am King Hiranyakashipu, Lord of everyone, King of the Sky, all shall worship me and do my bidding. I have five special powers: I can’t be killed by any person or animal, I can’t be killed indoors or outdoors, not at day time or at night, or by a handheld or projectile weapon. I can’t be killed on the land, air or water. All shall worship me.
  • I hate you Prahlada. You worship Vishnu and don't follow me. No matter how hard I punish you, you refuse to follow me.
  • I don’t care Dad I want to keep following Vishnu and living morally.
  • Ok Lord King, I will get it done
  • Holika, my son is refusing to follow me. I have had enough of him; I want you to lure him out to the pyre and then burn him alive. Here, take this cloak. It will protect you from the flames so you don’t burn.
  • Yes Aunt Holika?
  • Hey Prahlada, come on over here and sit with me, I want to tell you something
  • The fire roars around Prahlada, the wind comes and takes the cloak off Holika and lands on Prahlada, and she is engulfed by flames.
  • Vishnu, the god who appears as an avatar to restore Dharma in Hindu beliefs, took the form of Narasimha - half human and half lion. He then murders Hiranyakashyapu.
