- Rome had many achievments in science, medicine, mathematics, and in literature. In science an astronomer and mathematician named Ptomely wrote a book about the universe and wrote some things on geography and the study of light.
- In literature Virgil a poet wrote the Aneid which was based on Greek writtings. Rome was gifted in oratory or the art of giving speeches. In medicine a physician named Galen opened up animals to find out how the body works.

- After The Pax Romana ended when Marcus Aurelius died Rome began to fall. Emperors and generals were all fighting one another so they could become emperor. The generals cared more baout support from the military so they bribed them which ment they had to make more money but with less valueables. The merchants saw this and raised their prices and this caused inflation.

- Since the soliders needed to fight against one another the borders were left open and soon the Sassanians invaded Rome.Then Germanic tribes came and started to invade Rome's empire because they were in such chaos. Goths came and attacked Rome and when a German general removed an emperor the Roman Empire had ended.
