"Pay it then!"
As the girls walked off again, William came in with many papers.
"We have to pay ten payments of taxes!"
I quickly got out of bed and saw that Elizabeth and Becky were at the bedpost with wide eyes.
"I have an idea, We will just buy everything we absolutely need!"
I stared out of my room into the Boston Harbor. I saw three ships with crates of tea being dumped into the harbor by Mohawk Indians.
The sunrise only came hours later, but the girls woke me up when they heard footsteps. It was William, but he was not very happy.
It has been five days since he has talked to me. On the fifth day, I was eating with the girls when he came.
We used his idea! Instead of paying ten taxes, we only pay three payments of taxes.
