harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban
Summary of harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban for my 8th grade LANGUAGE ARTS PROJECT
The first major plot point of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is Harry's arrival at Hogwarts
The second major plot point is when Sirius Black sneaks into the Gryffindor Tower. The fat lady in the portrait denies him access to the common room, so he destroys her painting, thus making her move to a different painting
sirius is in the tower. he tore up my painting and forced me to this one
The third major plot point is when Harry uses his invisibility cloak to sneak into Hogsmeade. While at Three Broomsticks, he overhears people saying that Sirius Black is the reason his parents died. Harry then vows to kill Sirius Black.
... Yeah. Sirius is the reason Lilly and James died. He told he-who-shall-not-be-named where they were.
The fourth major plot point is when the supposed Grim (A death omen in the form of a black dog) takes Ron and his rat, Scabbers, to its lair underneath the Whomping Willow. They then discover that the Grim is actually professor Snape in his Animagus form. Scabbers is actually Peter Pettigrew, a servant of Voldemort, in his Animagus form. Sirius, who had been framed for the murder of 13 people, was innocent. It was actually Peter who had cast the curse and disclosed the location of James and Lilly Potter
The fifth major plot point is when the full moon causes professor Lupin to turn into a werewolf. Snape turns into his Animagus form to protect the children, and Harry comes to his aid. Both Harry and Sirius almost die fighting off dementors, and afterwards, Sirius is taken into custody.
Dumbledore gets Hermione to use her time-turner to rewind time. They save Sirius and help him get away. Professor Lupin resigns over his wolfism, and Harry enjoys his new broomstick from Sirius.
