In 1519,Pizarro became a close associate of Dávila and the governor gave him a repartimiento of indigenous people and cattle.
When Dávila decided to remove Balboa from suspicion, he instructed Pizarro to personally arrest him and bring him to court.
Balboa was beheaded in January 1519
He made two expeditions to conquer the Inca Empire in 1524 and 1526. Both failed as a result of hostility, bad weather and lack of terms.
Pedro de los Ríos, the governor of Panama, attempted to revoke Pizarro, but the conqueror opposed and stayed in the South.
In April 1528, he arrived in northern Peru and found the indigenous people rich in precious metals.
