Storyboard Text

  • On Monday, we got to the Appalachian Trail. The instructors broke the trip down for us. Taught us how to use a map, and assigned us all a job.
  • May 7,2018 at 3:00pm
  • Appalachian Trail
  • I'm really be living outside for a week
  • On Tuesday morning we gathered our packs and got to walking. We had to walk 7 miles. Marlisa was our navigator. I've never seen so many rocks and hills.
  • I WANNA GO HOME
  • How much longer?
  • On Wednesday, we went rocking climbing. We didn't have to walk a long way to get there. We took pictures on Annaoplis Rock.
  • This is easier than indoor rock climbing
  • When we got the campsite on Wednesday, the instructors gave a blue book and told everyone to write how they felt. It was one the most emotional parts of our trip. Dreshawn and Joseph had great poems. You could feel the emotion through the words. To me the best parts of the trip was our evening mettings.
  • Thursday was our last day walking a long way. We walked 5 miles. Mother nature decided to make it rain.  I was the navigator, it was a easy job even though i didn't understand the map.
  • Friday morning we got up at 6:45am to get our belongings packed by 7:30am so we could make it to the bus by 8:00am.  We were on our way back home when we realized we made it. A WEEK IN THE WOODS. I was proud of everybody. I just want to say thank you to Mr.Lewis for picking me for this trip. It was a good experience and i really needed that.
