Gabby Douglas December 31, 1995. She is from Virgina Beach, Virgina. She is 5foot 2inches tall. Her and Simone Biles and other gymnastics, are all friends and help each other. She started her career in gymnastics at only 8 by.
She would receive attacks online and criticism but she wouldnt let that stop her. At an earlier age she started to do one-handed cartwheels at the age of four. Then took formal classes at only 6. Two years later is when her gymnatics career actually took off. She was Virginia's State Campion. She moved to Iwoa and practiced with a Olympic gold medalist.
Douglas inspired Amarissa, 13, with a life-threatening illness. Amarissa got her wish with Douglas. She had dinner with no cameras and taught her so gymnastics. Gabby's family reached out again. Her last chemo stopped lupus which almost killed her. Then she practiced gymnastics with Gabby more because she could still do it. She also started a charity as well. Sheis a young motivation speaker.
