There are lots of large parks with diverse plants, and flowers (perennials). Pets are allowed but they must keep them from getting on the streets, if they do they will face heavy fines. Farm animals are found within fifty miles of the city limits and all native animals found in the region are protected.
inhabitants primarily use bikes, even though hydrogen cell vehicles exist, they are considered a luxury due to the pricing.
solid waste used as fertilizer for rooftop gardens. there is a recycling plant (that does not handle plastic because oil is non renewable) that enables glass and metal to be recycled through primary and secondary recycling.
A rainwater collection system (with soil) is used to avoid precipitation from getting polluted in the sewers
the nearby streams and lakes are used for the city's water after being treated at the water treatment facility
