Storyboard Text

  • How do I do that?
  • Okay Joseph, we're going to start potty training now.
  • First we have the mouth, now your teeth use mechanical digestion. Then once you are done chewing it goes into your throat into a tube made out of muscle called the esophagus.
  • Mouth
  • Esophagus
  • Stomach
  • Now after the your food has gone through the esophagus it goes into your stomach. Now, once the food in inside of your stomach, your stomach pumps acid to chemacilly break down the food.
  • The stomach ahs a line of mucus inside it to protect the stomach from the acid.
  • Liver
  • After the food is broken down by the acid it goes into the small intestine and attached to the small intestine is the liver and pancreas. The liver breaks down the fat of the food and the pancreas breaks down the sugar. While the food is going through the small intestine all the nutrients that out body need gets sucked up by villi.
  • Pancreas
  • Small Intestine
  • Large Intestine
  • Once it goes through the small intestine it goes into the large intestine. There, all of the water will be sucked up and the water will then go to the kidneys to be filtered. The water will then go from your kidney through your ureters then to your bladder and once it gets too full your brain will tell the little pinchers called sphincters to release and then you will need to use number one. Once the poop is built up in you large intestine then you will need to use number two.
  • Kidneys
  • Ureters
  • Ohhhhh I get it.
  • Yep, that's where poop come from. Oh, and it takes two to three days for this to happen.
