Cavity wall insulation
Double glazing windows are better than single glazed windows due to the fact that it has a lower conductivity, which means that it will lose thermal energy slower.
Loft insulation is when it reduces the rate of energy transfer through the roof. It reduces the rate of energy transfer through conduction. The greater the layers the thicker the insulation. So the rate of energy transfer through the roof would be less.
Cavity wall insulation reduces the rate of energy transfer through the outer walls of the house. The cavity of an outer wall is the space between the two layers of bricks that make up the wall. The insulation is pumped into the cavity. It traps the air in small products, reducing the rate of energy transfer by conduction.
