  • The Treaty of Utrecht is signed.
  • After the Treaty of Utrecht was signed, the British came to Acadia, the French were encouraged to leave. Some decided to stay and some people decided to go. Most of the Acadians living here stayed.
  • Get out! This our land now! 
  • Come on, let's leave.
  • You Can't kick us out! This is our home!
  • You are now under British rule.
  • Thanks for the British citizenship.
  • Now that the British are in control, they are forcing the French and Acadians to get their resources for them.
  • Au moins, nous pouvons toujours parler notre langue. (At least we can still speak our language).
  • It's so annoying how the British are controlling us!
  • More and More British were coming. Leaving barely any space for the Acadians and a little for the French.
  • Look at all the British! There are so many!
  • Yes, and look at those poor Acadians in the corner. They look so upset.
  • When the British got the French's land they all so got all the rsources that came with it. The land also originally had many resources.
  • This Treaty is so great! Were gaining all the resources!
