Columbus arrived in the early Americas and saw the Native Americans. While they were confused about who these people were and why they got there, Columbus had a plan to take their resources even with people in his way
Christopher invited his fellow Europeans to come check out the new resources. Unintentionally the were responsible for bringing many diseases with them. They were used to their animals but the natives had not built the same immunity.
By trading food, pottery, and weapons, both parties were spreading disease they didn't even know existed.
Soon diseases such as smallpox, measles, and influenza. The natives began to try and avoid trade with the Europeans but it was already too late. Many natives began to die because of the lack of immunity built up from the Europeans.
All of the native tribes were furious. 90% of their populations had been wiped out due to Columbus' adventures so they wanted him gone and fast. Columbus wasted no time leaving because he too was scared of the illnesses.
While trying to flee from the diseases that were plaguing the ntives, Columbus was soon going to find out that they too had contracted very deadly diseases; diseases that thy were now carrying back to Europe.
