Every person in the society looks the same. In Chapter 2 page 27, it states the ranks of the babies and what color clothes they wear. The scene Im illustrating is when the Director turns on the light and there the babies are. It relates to the elements Sameness because every person has a color and are conditioned so they are the same.
Individuals are under constant surveillance, and they are punished for indepndent thoughts and actions.
A corrupt government or leader government demands to be worshipped and obeyed by it's citizens.
The majority of the polpulation lives in a dehumanized state of squalor, while an elite few have knowledge and power.
The soceity seems to be a well-intentioned utopia.
The protaganist is always an unlike leader of a Revolution, lacking, obvious strength, experience, power, or even values yet the unlikely hero discovers the evil beneath thier reality, and rebel against it.
