There once was a man named Gilgamesh. He was the ruler of a civilization, but he was very mean to his people.
Unfortunately, they hated each other instantly. They fought each other with the same strength until Gilgamesh won and Enkidu accepted the fact that he was the weaker one. Instead of hating each other more, they became best friends.
So they prayed to the sky gods and they created a beast-like man named Enkidu and he ran around the forest. One day, a man hunting in the forest saw him and told Gilgamesh.
Both of them loved adventure, and they fought together. They beat an evil beast in the forest and the Bull of Heaven. Soon, the gods got mad at Enkidu for killing the bull of heaven and made him sick.
He soon found a man and his wife who shared immortality. He was told that if he found a special plant, he would be granted immortality. He started searching, and after a while he found it.
When Enkidu died, Gilgamesh decided to search for immortality.
After he found it and returned to land, a snake went up to him then stole his plant!
Gilgamesh lost his reward and all of the hard work he did was for nothing. He realized that immortality was useless and he returned to his civilization.
Even though Gilgamesh lost a lot, it made him realize that life is short and he needs to make the best of it. He soon became a great king who pleased everyone.
