Storyboard Text

  • Hello, my name is Mozart. I have heard many great things about you.
  • In 1787, Mozart and Beethoven run into each other at their local market.
  • Hello! My name is Beethoven. It is nice to finally meet you as well.
  • How are you liking your travels?
  • I am liking it for the most part. Although, I do not find myself getting along with the wealthier class very well.
  • Haha, I can not agree more! I have always had a hard time getting along with the wealthier class. But just keep pushing to achieve your dreams! Just like you from ages 5-14 years old I was traveling with my dad playing piano and violin for the wealthier class. Then by age 8, I had written my first symphony and by age 12 I had written my first opera! The my 15 I was in the Austrian orchestra.
  • But, after getting fired for being too disobedient, I became a free lance artist. Where I have stayed comfortable living for myself performing through independent contractors throughout the years. I would love to hear one of your pieces sometime. What are your greatest accomplishments so far?
  • Well, by age 11, I became an assistant to the court organist. Then by 12 I had published several piano compositions and recently at age 16 I moved to Vienna to study music. I would love to perform for you! Please come to my next performance.
  • Beethoven performs for Mozart
  • You music is full of emotion. You are not afraid to show passion, anger and rage in your music. I enjoyed your classical approach to music.
  •
  • Thank you for your compliments! In the future I plan on changing it up a bit. I have always been a fan of your work. You can produce so much music in such little time! Whereas I could spend years and years on just one piece. Your music so easy to remember and perfectly structured. I really believe you were the pioneer of the classical style.
