  • Operation Rolling Thunder 1965-1968
  • March 2, 1965 first bombs dropped.
  • On December 7, 1941, Japanese forces attack Hawaii and the U.S Naval base. It was a surprise military strike. Franklin D. Roosevelt asked Congress to declare war the next day.
  • On December 1, 1955 Rosa Parks was arrested for not giving up her seat to a white person. Then this started the Montgomery bus boycott.
  • Operation Rolling Thunder took place from 1965-1968. Which was the dropping of bombs throughout North Vietnam. 643,000 tons of bombs were dropped, the target was the Ho Chi Minh Trail.
