  • We were never prepared for the war.
  • It was awful. We lost 15%.
  • The February Revolution, 1917
  • I give up my throne.
  • We need to set up the Duma.
  • Bolshevik Revolution/October Revolution, 1917
  • Everyone! The Bolsheviks rule!
  • Russia isn't prepared for war. They fall behind in militarism. Over the years Russia lost 15% of it's population fighting in WW1.
  • Russian Civil War 1918-1919
  • Czar Nicholas II is dead! The Reds Win!
  • Czar Nicholas gives up his throne. The Duma comes again but it actually has no real power.
  • Industrial & Agricutural Reforms of Stalin, 1928
  • Work harder!
  • The Revolution was lead by Vladimir Lenin. They take political power of Russia. They get rid of private property and make peace with Germany.
  • Stalin's purges, 1934
  • Kill them all!
  • The Reds (Bolsheviks) defeat the Whites (Czarists) and kill Czar Nicholas II.
  • Lenin dies and Joseph Stalin is in charge. He makes high demand for industrialization, states own farms.
  • Joseph Stalin killed anyone who was against him or threatened his power.
  • What? No!!
