  • It started when a "patriot" mob, was throwing snowballs, stones, and sticks, at a squad of British soldiers
  • the Boston massacre was a battle between the militia men and redcoats
  • The people involved were the British troops, Paul Rivere, Joseph Warren, Samuel adams and John hancock.
  • It all happened on March 5, 1770 in Boston Massachusetts
  • 8 militia men died and 9 were wounded and of the redcoats only one was injured
  • anger had been building up from the sugar act, the stamp act and the town shed acts
  • All those things generated great resentment and the boston tea party was one of the main points that kicked off the battle
