It started when a "patriot" mob, was throwing snowballs, stones, and sticks, at a squad of British soldiers
the Boston massacre was a battle between the militia men and redcoats
The people involved were the British troops, Paul Rivere, Joseph Warren, Samuel adams and John hancock.
It all happened on March 5, 1770 in Boston Massachusetts
8 militia men died and 9 were wounded and of the redcoats only one was injured
anger had been building up from the sugar act, the stamp act and the town shed acts
All those things generated great resentment and the boston tea party was one of the main points that kicked off the battle
