Storyboard Text

  • Interphaes
  • WE ARE THIN CHROMTIN STORING ENERGY AND PERPARING FOR MITOSIS
  • Prophase
  • I feel all chromatid up
  • Metaphase
  •
  • Anaphase
  • In this stage the chromosomes become visible and the centrioles separate and move to opposite poles of the cell.
  • Telophase
  • WAIT WHY ARE YOU SO FAR
  • The next stage of mitosis. In this stage the chromosomes line up along the middle of the cell and become connected to the spindle fiber at their centromere.
  • Cytokinesis
  • WOAH IT'S LIKE LOOKING INTO A MIRROR
  •  In this stage the sister chromatids separate into individual chromosomes and are pulled apart.
  • It's not gonna work these centrioles are pulling us apart
  • During this stage the chromosomes gather at opposite ends of the cell and lose their shapes. Two new nuclear membranes form around each of the two areas of DNA and the spindle fibers disappear.
  • BECAUSE WE'RE OVER IM MOVING ON
  • With two clones of the DNA now in two different areas of the cell the cell membrane will pinch and divide the cytoplasm in half. The product is two cells that are identical to the original cell. Each of the cells have a copy of the DNA and have all of the organelles that the original cell had.
