  • One in eight women get breast cancer.
  • I do not won't to go to school. I just won't to be with you mom.
  • Mom I am afraid that I will get breast cancer.
  • Your family contains the gene BRCA1 and BRCA2. The genes BRCA1 and BRCA2 carry breast cancer.
  • Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of death in the U.S.A. In 2015 there were 231,840 cases of invasive breast cancer and 60,290 cases of non-invasive breast cancer. In one year, 40,450 women die from breast cancer. Breast cancer is a malignant tumor that starts in the cells of the breast. Most breast cancer mainly effects women, but some men can get breast cancer. The symptoms of breast cancer are: lump in the under arm, skin irritation or dimpling and swelling of the breast.
  • By eating healthy and getting exercise you are able to protect yourself from breast cancer.
  • The disease can have drastic consequence on the person and their family. For example, some chemotherapy for breast cancer can affect the women to become pregnant. Another consequence on the person or family is breast cancer can have is that it is very expensive, so the family may deal with financial issues. The spouse that does not have breast cancer may have to do more work around the house and it could bring the relationship closer or could harm the relationship.
  • By walking along the lake everyday we are having a positive impact in not getting breast cancer.
  • You can't control some risk factors, such as your age. The older you get the higher risk you are at for breast cancer. Also, your race is another uncontrollable factor. Whites have the highest breast cancer rates, but African Americans and American Indians are more likely to die from breast cancer. DNA is another uncontrollable risk factor; if your family carries the gene BRCA1 or BRCA2, you are more likely to get breast cancer. Gender is another uncontrollable factor; girls are more likely to get breast cancer.
  • No person should die from breast cancer! Get your yearly mammograms, that way you can stay alive and travel to the Hover Damn.
  • You can protect yourself by not being obese and eating a well-balanced diet. Another step to protect yourself from breast cancer is to get moderate physical activity every day. By not being an alcoholic you can also protect yourself from breast cancer. Also, by getting yearly mammograms helps one from getting breast cancer. Lastly, seeing a doctor if you have any symptoms of breast cancer can prevent you from getting breast cancer.
  • Getting moderate physical activity every day will have a positive impact. For instance, riding your bike, jogging, walking, etc. will reduce your risk of getting breast cancer. Also, getting mammograms can prevent breast cancer. Mammograms reduce your risk of getting breast cancer because doctors will be able to detect if you have breast cancer. Also by eating a well- balanced diet you will prevent yourself from breast cancer.
  • No person should die from breast cancer! Get your yearly mammograms, that way you can stay alive and travel to the hoover dam.
