  • A young girl and her family move to a foreign land, confused however excited to start a new life, to experience the American Dream.
  • The family have settled into their new home eager to start work.
  • Trying to get used to the way of life: Where the father is the breadwinner of the family and the women are restrained by their gender, forced to work at home.
  • The women are not allowed to go beyond family affairs, and thus are found taking on domestic activities.
  • "Listen up, citizens of America. We're stepping into a new era, into a revolutionary moment. We are changing history. We are changing women's lives.  We are giving women the right to vote, the right to freedom, a ticket for equality."
  • At last times have changed! Despite the influence of gender the government offered new opportunities to do what so many men did: reinvent themselves!
