  • The French and Indian War was a conflict between Britain and France.
  • It was a war to decide which nation would control land and power
  • Benjamin Franklin proposed the Albany plan of union which was the proposal to unify government 
  • The treaty of Paris
  • The treaty of Paris ended the war in 1763 The treaty gave Britain, Quebec and the Ohio valley
  • France lost all of their territory in North America.
  • Britain imposed the Proclamation of 1763 on the colonist which prohibited colonies from making west.
  • The war cost Britain a lot of money so they taxed the colonist. The colonist became angry.
