- It was 1453, and it was a usual day within the trade center that was Constantinople. However, this was the day the Byzantine Empire fell, and the Ottoman Empire took its place.
- Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror walks up to Constantine's giant stone walls with his army of Islamic men and a new invention that will change the way people fight, the gunpowder cannon.
- After setting up camp, Mehmed set the cannons, pointed them towards the wall, and gave the order is give siege. They attacked by having a team of soldiers arm on cannon, each with a different task. One reloads the cannon, another packs the gunpowder, and one adds a fuse and fires the out the stone ball.
- Within the city walls, soldiers are attempting to mend the walls, while others are getting armed for combat, all the while everyone panicked.It took about 5 weeks in order to make a hole big enough for the entire army to go inside of.

- Once this had happened, the Ottomans became the new major trade center for everyone, influencing the Age of Exploration. Meanwhile, Mehmed was busy turning the entire empire Islamic, renaming it to Istanbul, and converting the Haga Sophia into a mosque.
