Storyboard Text

  • Studying
  • This is stupid! There is only one type of economy that works! The market economy!
  • Strangers
  • AHH! Where did you come from!
  • Actually, there are 4 different types of capitalism and they are pretty much used all around the world.
  • You Need to Know
  • I don't need your help! I can do this by myself!
  • I am Kaz, you sound like you need help understanding capitalism so i am her to help!
  • To bad, I am helping you anyway. I think we will start with a Traditional economy.
  • Meet Cinder, she is in her room trying to study for business exam tomorrow and it is not going to well.
  • The Wilderness
  • AHHHHH! WHY ARE WE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WOODS?
  • While complaining, Cinders new neighbor that she has never meet before magically pops into her room and starts his long discussion about capitalism.
  • Moving On
  • That's all very interesting and all but that type of economy is barley used any more. I know all about it! If your are going to teach me, then do it over something I do not know very well.
  • Kaz refuses to leave so that he can help Cinder understand how Capitalism works by taking her on a magical adventure.
  • Coasting Through Cuba
  • WOULD YOU STOP DOING THAT? YOU ARE GOING TO GIVE ME A HEART ATTACK!
  • Kaz takes Cinder back in time to hunter gather days to show how a traditional economy works. With only getting resources from the land and primarily trading things instead of buying them with money.
  • We're not. We are exactly where your hours was around 2,000 B.C.E.  when every body used a traditional society because they all got their resources straight from the earth. There are still some day like Haiti, but very few are left.
  • As Cinder is unimpressed by traveling back to a traditional  economy Kaz takes her to a new location.
  • Well if traveling through time isn't enough to impress you, then maybe traveling through space to see a Command economy!
  • Kaz takes Cinder to Cuba to show her how the command economy works.
  • Now we are in Cuba in the year 1998. Cuba is a Command economy meaning that the government is controlled by the government.
