  • Delacroix! Hutchinson! Dunbar!
  • People got for the lottery. An Important tradition for them.
  • They gathered in the square around the oldest person in town, Mr. Summers, to host the lottery.
  • He called out names from each person who took a paper from the box. 
  • The Hutchinson family was called up.
  • They picked out papers from the box, although Mrs. Hutchinson was hesitant,  she picked out a paper too. She even insisted that she didn't that her daughter take her place.
  • They all look at the papers, and all of them are blank until you get to Mrs. Hutchinson. She had a black dot on hers. Everyone body gathered around collecting large rocks, even her own son, and they stoned her to death. The End.
