As Nick and Janet walk home from school Nick get an idea. Why doesn't he come up with his own word?

The "frindle" story has became a BIG story in Nick’s town and later on a national sensation!
When Nick is a junior in collage he receives a brand-new eighth-edition dictionary which contains the word frindle, Mrs. Granger's favorite pen, and a letter from Mrs. Granger that explains that she was supporting him all along. In response, Nick sends her a new gold pen and a letter vas well. He also creates a genmanent trust fund for collage scholarships in her name.
