Chin yu min was rich and selfish was never content. She was rude to her servants and made rhem do impossible things , she thought she was better than everyone. In the text, “Chin yu min And The Ginger Cat” it states, “She was proud and haughty, and she made her servants perform impossible and meaning less tasks...” so, Chin yu min was using her power in a very bad way.
Oh please Ginger cat fish for me
In this scene secretary Chin fell out of his boat and sank in the river. In the text it states, “One day Secretary Chin fell out of his small yellow pleasure boat and sank like a piece of carved jade to the bottom of the lake.” So, now Secretary Chin was dead Chin yu min owned the house but she was becoming poor.
Now Chin yu min isn’t poor but still selfish like before. She was hungry as evr but still refused her neighbors help. In the text it states, “She slammed the door in their faces and stomped away.” Therefore, she refused their help although she needed it. In the text it also states, “At last She was as poor as a mouse in a monastery.” So, Chin yu min is now fully poor and now needs help.

Chin yu min went to the lake to fish and she didn’t find any a ginger cat came along and pulled out a fish and ate all up. When she saw this she asked the Ginger cat to pull out a fish for her. In the text it states, “Catch a fish for me!” So, she asked nicely for the Ginger to catch fish for her and It did.
Chin yu min caring about herself and using the cat at first, she’s let the cat come live with her only if the Ginger cat caught fish for her. In the text it states, “Why not come and live with me?”So, after the cat started to live with her she’s started to notice that the cat was her friend.
OChin yu min now noticed that friends are more valuable than money. In the text it states, “My table is poor, but your presence will make it seem rich to me.” Therefore, Chin yu min now has friend but no money. In the text it also states, “And from that time the scrolls on Chin yu min’s door read “ contented joy” So, Chin yu min is content and not greedy
