  • BIBLE REFERENCE: Genesis 6:11-22, 7:1-5, 8:1-3, 9:1-3
  • Make an ark with cypress wood and gather animals two animals- one male and one female of all species.
  • How are we going to build this on time?
  • Do you really think it will work?
  • As the world went on it grew in size and wickedness and God wanted to get rid of his creations. But he was fond of one man named Noah.
  • Noah with the help of his three sons gathered the animals and enough cypress wood to build a humongous ark. They also gathered enough food for 40 days and 40 nights.
  • The day of the floods arrived and Noah had successfully made an ark, soon all the animals were in the ark, ready to embark on their journey.
  • Soon the sky darkened and the clouds starterd pouring rain. It stormed hard and the ark was lifted up and was carried on the water. Finally, the ark came to a rest on a mountain peak.
  • Noah waited after the rain subsided. He wanted to know whether there was any land to settle on. He released a raven hoping it would find land, but there was nothing but water. He then released a dove, who also didn't find anywhere to land but bought back an olive tree branch.
  • Seven days later, Noah released the dove again and this time the dove did not come back. Some days later, Noah and everyone else on the ark settled into the lands and God blessed Noah. As God was blessing Noah's family a rainbow appeared, reminding us that the world will never again be destroyed by floods.
