  • This seemed to be the first significant action that the colonists made, to eventually spark a rebellion, that would lead to a revolution.
  • We Refuse to Pay!
  • We don't need to fight the British!
  • This was perhaps the first time that delegates from all over came together to speak as one, against the British, for it was after the "Intolerable Acts", the burden that the colonists went through.
  • We need a militia
  • This happened to be the first violence between the colonists and the British, showing the realization that a war could indeed occur.
  • Who Shot First?
  • Where are Samuel Adams and John Hancock?
  • This 2nd meeting of the continental congress, almost split the colonies into loyalists and patriots, loyalists supporting the King, patriots wanting a revolution.
  • The Olive Branch is the only way to solve this in a civilized manor.
  • We do not need a petition, we need to take action!!
  • The first major battle of the Revolutionary War showed the colonists what they were up against and that they would need more fire power.
  • "Common Sense" enlightened the colonists, bringing hope and common sense to those who did not have it when thinking of their situation with the British.
  • DUH, of course that makes sense!
