Storyboard Description

Everyone is smart, in their own ways. Grades on your report card don't determine that. That is only a a small portion of it. Scientists discovered people have various 'smarts'. These eight smarts are called multiple intelligences. Each person has a dominant intelligence. My top three are visual-spatial, intropersonal, mathematical-logical smart. Through this comic, I will be discussing why these are my dominant intelligences.

Storyboard Text

  • Hi, I'm Ravjot and this is my Multiple Intelligences comic!
  • I will be discussing what these intelligences are, my 3 dominant ones, and occupations within those categories.
  • Howard Gardner at Harvard University researched what the several intelligences people revolve around.
  • It was a theory that helped people discover their strengths and learning styles.
  • My top three were Visual-Spatial,  Interpersonal, and Logical -Mathematical
  • Visual (image smart) was my dominant intelligence.
  • Being a visual learner means to use images and diagrams during studying, taking notes or presentations
  • Another example is that I use colours in my notes. This helps me stay organized and remember notes easily.
  • Whenever I am in school and have to read an article, for example, I make connections using images in my mind
  • From the fact of being intrapersonal, I tend to be more independent and like having privacy in my life.
  • My second intelligence is Intrapersonal. This means that I'm self-smart and keep thoughts organized.
  • I show this intelligence through decision making. Before joining a club, I think about my interests and reasons why I want to join.
  • I like having puzzles and riddles to solve. My logical side is also shown since I love watching mystery shows (Pretty Little Liars).
  • My last intelligence is logical-mathematical. This is my reasoning and calculating side.
  • Example: I would prefer doing mathematical equations than writing an essay. Many people I know are the opposite of this.
