Mya is saying about how she is confident and it might offend people but she doesn't care. She is not letting people have power over her.
Mya is saying that some people want to see her down and discouraged because they think that's all it is. She is saying that she will not be beaten and worn down.
Mya is saying that no matter what history says she will overcome it. She is saying that it doesn't matter what people say she is different.
