  • Calpurnia gives a note to Atticus. Atticus reads the note and tells the judge that his kids are missing, and Mr.Underwood tells him that they are in the colored balcony.
  • "My sister says my children are missing" (Lee 276)
  • "They're in the.. balcony" (Lee 276)
  • Atticus tells the kids to leave and the kids persuade him to let them stay. Atticus tells them they can come back after dinner.
  • Go home..stay home" (Lee 277)
  • "Come..when you've eaten" (Lee 277)
  • "Please sir" (Lee 277)
  • Calpurnia took the kids home and Aunt Alexandra was shocked that the kids went to the courthouse.
  • "Shamed of yourselves" (Lee 278)
  • The kids return to the courthouse after dinner and continue hearing the court case on Tom Robinson.
